I have read John Agre's "Road Report" for the last few days and Legend's "Market Report". They give vastly different views of the show in Orlando.
If you attended, please share your experiences on the bourse.

I was there until the end of the show today. Much quieter show in Orlando than we're used to. Today was extremely quiet. I don't think this has anything to do with the market. The smaller ANA has always had trouble attracting large crowds.
Best consignment we received at show: 1920-S $10 Indian PCGS MS-62 CAC.

I was there all three days. I was very disappointed with it. I really wanted to spend money but the material was weak. I heard a lot of dealers who were not pleased also. Very light attendance all three days.

Spring shows ANA have always tended to be slower and while many dealers did not have a great show I had a pretty decent show both buying and selling. Today was quiet. See the Newps in 2 weeks at Baltimore including 1864 and 1870 3 c silvers. Tough dates
It was slow. Not a total disaster with nothing going on but still an overall slow show.
Yeah...it was slow. I actually though it might be a gangbuster for dealers since the winter ANA hadn't been in Orlando the past 2 years. A show 1/2 the size of FUN and if it just drew 1/2 the attendance of FUN! Didn't happen
I was underwhelmed and probably expected something more like the FUN Show. Did have the opportunity for an enjoyable visit with Jeff Shevlin, the So-Called Guy, ... even picked up a very pretty silver 1909 Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Expo official medal with neat reverse design by George T. Morgan. BluCC made some of his great images on a couple of items I brought to the show with me. Other than that, not much to write about. Doubt if I would go to another ANA in Orlando.

I was there on the first two days. It was the first I didn't buy a U.S. Coin at a fair sized show. I bought a Henry VII groat (4 pence), four political tokens and a George H.W. Bush inaugural medal progression medal set. These were issued in 1989 and show the steps in making a high relief medal.
I came close to buying a Three Dollar gold piece but backed off for budget reasons. The only coins on my U.S. want list were either in "details" holders or had been cleaned and were in straight grade holders from ATS. The 1839-C quarter eagles were the usual disappointment. Are there any of these coins left in AU or Unc. that have not been shined up to make them look like mini hub caps? I am beginning to think that the answer in no.
I flew in and out thursday.
Perspective will tell different stories.
It was larger than some shows but not as large as others.
Highlights for me was working with a stella in pf67 cameo cac, Round $50 in p65 cac and a 1864 $20 p65 dcam cac
Attitude was quiet from most I spoke with. However many still had decent to great shows.
Some dealers were clearly there to buy. others not so much
Seems like most opinions are that it was a slow show... both in attendance and commerce.... Too bad, I thought this would continue what has appeared to be an up market at shows this year... Cheers, RickO

The big show was just down there 2 months ago and PCGS decided not to show up and grade coins at this one. Those 2 facts alone doomed it.
Plus Baltimore is in 2 weeks

A FUN convention led me to believe that this show would be just a bit smaller than Winter FUN. It was A LOT smaller than Winter FUN.
And not nearly as much "FUN" !
The show was still a show........................that I could not attend

I thought that Fred was doing a lot of smiling at the show ~ even more than usual !
